There will be some changes to the expiration dates of our gift vouchers. However, rest assured that you can still continue to redeem these right up until we close in December. 

The treatment of Writer's Block gift vouchers will depend upon when they will expire:

Expiry Dates in 2026: these will expire as normal and cannot be redeemed after their expiry date. Please continue to redeem in store as normal.

Expiry Dates in 2027: these will be deemed to expire on the final closure of the shop in December. Please therefore redeem these before we close. 

Expiry Dates in 2028: these will be redeemable until we close, or may be converted to National Book Token cards in November. These can be used in other bookshops. To convert your vouchers, visit in store during November. 

Please note that we will be ceasing to issue new gift vouchers, but National Book Tokens will continue to be available until 30 November 2026. 

Pre-orders

The book must be released on or before 14 November 2026

We will only create a custom order when the book is currently in stock with our suppliers, or if a pre-order, will be released on or before 14 November 2026. 

We reserve the right to refuse any custom order

Prepayment

We will require all custom orders placed to be settled at the time of order. 

Orders placed by email or Whatsapp will be sent a payment link which will need to be settled before the order is processed. 

No further custom orders will be placed after 14 November 2026
